In the top left corner of the tour for Shemale Nova they list the number of pictures and movies found within the site. It reads: 650 movies (as of October 17, 2008). At first I thought that referred to the number of individual downloadable movies, which can be inflated if they break each scene into multiple parts. However, a little bit of digging showed that they actually have 650 full length scenes for download. In fact, you can look at preview pictures from each of them on the tour if you're so inclined. The amount of pictures though refers to the total amount of pictures, not the amount of episodes.

Caution: When entering your CC info, be sure to uncheck the prechecked checkboxes for free memberships to other sites (if undesired). If you don't you'll end up with 2 or 3 extra memberships that will automaticly charge you after 1-3 days.

Lucky for me (and you) I had a password to the member's area so I could get inside and check out the movies first hand. I was on page 29 of the movie list when I logged in and was pleased to discover that nothing changes once you enter your username and password. After logging in I was still on page 29, except now I could download the movies I was staring at. Browsing through the full list is just one of the ways to check out the movies; there are a few others that you'll put to use.

The site is built around the models. They offer an advanced search function that lets you look through the models by name, age or hair color. It's surprisingly limited, leaving out things like breast size and body type. You can also check out the top 15 models as rated by the members. They offer a forum where you should in theory be able to talk with other members and share your favorite scenes but at this point it's a barren wasteland. In truth they don't offer enough options for browsing through the content. A more advanced search that allowed for multiple categories at once would have been nice.

At this point Shemale Nova updates every six days, which is a significant slowdown from the early days when they added something new every day. However, with the total content sitting at such a high number there's no need for them to update as frequently any longer. I'm fairly certain that nowadays they shoot their own content whereas in the early days they were simply buying the distribution rights to videos and posting them. I say this because each new update features a picture gallery along with the video clip, which is a sure sign of self production, but note that I'm not 100% sure of this.

The videos are the real star of the show thanks to their high quality. You can stream them at 520x294 or download a WMV at 720x406. They offer a full length version of each scene or you can download it in six parts. Each version looks fantastic and I enjoyed each of the scenes I watched. There's mention of bonus movies on the site, but they're not actually bonus clips at all. They just take you to one of the video download pages and call it bonus content, which is strange to say the least. Nevertheless, with more than 650 full length tranny videos at Shemale Nova it's one of the most comprehensive collections on the web.
